Welcome to Tampa-Greenberg Ring #13

Are you new to magic? New to Pittsburgh? New to the I.B.M.?

The International Brotherhood of Magicians, founded in 1922, is the world's largest and most prestigious organization for professional and amateur magicians, magic enthusiasts and collectors of magic apparatus. As a member of the I.B.M., you will enter into a magical world of learning, performing and fellowship.

You'll join a network of magicians who meet at local meetings, international conventions and communicate through the prestigious monthly magazine, The Linking Ring. Additionally, we have an electronic online Ring for daily interaction and information via the Internet. The I.B.M. is open to anyone seven years and older who has a sincere interest in the art of magic. We invite you to join us!

If you are already a member in good standing with the International Brotherhood of Magicians, then joining the local IBM #13 Ring is pretty straight forward. 

The best part of joining the International Brotherhood is that you get access to the local chapters, called "Rings". This is where you can hob-knob with your fellow magi's and get hands-on help, resources, lessons, and a monthly opportunity to hone your craft.

I.B.M. Ring 13 welcomes any current I.B.M. member to apply for membership to the Ring.

Application requires an annual dues payment of $20.  

If you don't know any of our current members, then simply present yourself at one of our monthly meetings. We'll get you started and on your way - see the steps below.

First steps:

1. Contact the International Brotherhood of Magicians
2. Apply and be accepted for membership by the I.B.M.

Second steps:

1. Contact us to let us know you are interested.
2. If you don't already have a sponsor, we will appoint one to you.
3. Fill out and submit the Ring 13 membership application.
4. Pay the annual dues.
5. Come to our meetings (or participate through our online meetings).
6. Perform three different times.
7. After three performances, if you have shown a genuine interest in magic and your dues are fully paid, then your sponsor will recommend your membership, and after a vote by the membership, You're In!
